Theatre By the Bay Kicks Off the 2010 Season
This year, Theatre By the Bay brings one of Shakespeare's most famous comedies to the stage with the Taming of the Shrew, August 5th to the 21st.
Brett Glover was able to catch up with director Brett Christopher to talk about his modern spin on a classic tale.
Also as part of Theatre By The Bay's 2010 season is an original production starring some beloved characters. Aladdin And Jasmine's Summer Adventure was written by and starring Theatre By the Bay's Youth Group, and director Lariss Mair was able to tell us more about it.
Aladdin And Jasmine's Summer Adventure runs along side Taming of the Shrew, August 7th to 27th.

Don't Forget Your Lawnchair!
Starting Wednesday, June 16th, the Barrie Film Festival will once again show films as part of the Lawn Chair Luminata: Waterfront Series. On Wednesday nights throughout the summer, they will be presenting three FREE outdoor films, on the third Wednesday of each month, weather permitting, at Barrie's Heritage Park.
Kicking off the series on June 16th is the classic blockbuster Indiana Jones and The Raiders of the Lost Ark on Wednesday June 16th (raindate: June 17)
The Beatles fanciful spy spoof Help! shows on July 21st, and the 2004 firefighter action flick Ladder 49 shows on August 18th.
