Here's some behind the scenes stuff about radio which you may or may not know.

Usually when someone leaves a radio station, there are two ways it goes:

1. They are going to another job or are leaving for a change...and therefore, they get a chance to say goodbye and let the listeners know they're leaving.

2. They are not going to another job. They are going on to "pursue other interests" -- yes, they were fired. Often, in this case, the announcer doesn't get a chance to say goodbye and listeners just wonder what happened.

Later today, our very own afternoon guy Jeff will be having his last shift with FM 93. He's going on to another job.

I've worked with Jeff for a few years and I have a lot of respect for the man. His talent is matched by his friendly manner. He will do very well at his new job and he will be missed here at FM 93.

So, that's this week's big change.

There's another big change coming next week that, once again, I am not looking forward to. More about that next week.
