There's a new exhibit at the Art Gallery of Ontario – KING TUT – THE GOLDEN KING AND THE GREAT PHAROAHS.. it opened this week.
It’s funny how popular TUT still is and it is in part due to the Hollywood Craze of movies that started way back in the ‘20’s when TUT was first unearthed. The human imagination just can’t seem to let it go.
Just to prove the point – when TUT was in Toronto last time it brought in a fortune. Some in the Arts Community speculate it’s a deficit busting measure this time. It worries local artists and local galleries.
One thing is for sure – Tut’s shadow still hangs over us all.
