A company has proposed to operate eight wind turbines southwest of Stayner and sell electricity to Hydro One.
The property is privately-owned in an area bound by Airport Road and County Road 91.
The Fairview Wind Farm is a long way off.
Besides requiring provincial approval, Wpd Canada Corporation says there will be a public meeting in September, while technical studies will last until early 2011, followed by another open house in the spring.
The firm hopes to have turbines operational by 2013.
