A-List actress and Generation Xer Angelina Jolie has apparently joined the Twitter bandwagon. Well, sort of.

Jolie requested her name, @AngelinaJolie on Twitter so that no one else could use her name to dupe fans. Someone was in fact using that name on Twitter but their account was suspended and Jolie was given the Twitter account name.

For now, Angelina Jolie is not using the account, has no followers and has locked her twitter account. US magazine has reported that Jolie is considering using the account at a later date, possibly to tweet about her charities. The “Salt” star is known for her generosity with her money and her time when it comes to helping those less fortunate than herself.
