Friday Funny 81

Friday, July 30, 2010

I'm going to start this week with something cute and happy . . . This is when I think that the kitteh has learned the meaning of life a lot easier than most humans do - if some of us ever get it!

Comic-Con International is underway in San Diego. Originally founded as a comic book convention, it’s a four-day event that draws Hollywood south for a few days to promote shows and movies that are sci-fi or based on comic characters or themes, pop culture, manga, animation, toys, video games, fantasy novels and more. You can understand then, why Joshua Jackson chose to mine the crowds for fans of Pacey Witter for his own convention: Pacey Con 2010. If you’re a fan of Dawson, eat your heart out!

These I discovered on The Huffington Post.  Editors have collected some of the most infamous Infomercial fails and this one made me laugh out loud.  You'll be happy to know that no handymen were hurt in the making of this video . . .

. . . or this one!

Switching from ladders to samurai swords, this one may have caused an injury, leading to "emergency surgery".

You've heard that old phrase, "Don't try this at home kids!"  Me thinks that phrase was written specifically for the advice given at the end of this Anthony Sullivan gem . . .

Is this one real??

This is kind of sad - but I knew someone like this.  I babysat for her when I was 12 and 13 years old.  Man, her place was so full of stuff and I always wondered why.  Thanks to shows like Hoarders, now I know.

Cute alert!!  Cute alert!!

It's nice to know that the stars aren't as starry as we make them out to be.  As a matter of fact, a few of them go out of their way to be normal.  Take a look: http://www.hellomagazine.com/celebrities/gallery/201007223898/stars/get-real/help-out/1/1/.

I found this over the weekend and laughed, especially since I think that those Real Housewives shows are a bit on the childish side.  I hope you laugh, too!

This week, I'll leave you with a clip from the new animated Yogi Bear movie that's coming to theatres with Dan Ackroyd and Justin Timberlake as Yogi and Boo-Boo.  I'm not saying I won't like the movie, but Yogi has changed.  Am I worng?

Have a great long weekend, and I'll see you Tuesday!
