I'm still relatively new to the city. I have to admit that Barrie is definitely a beautiful city - waterfront/tower and all! However, something was askew as I drove up Bayfield Street earlier this morning.

There were quite a few coffee cups, fast food containers, and even juice boxes along the curb. I even noticed some litter around bus stops. This may sound a little strange, but trust me it will go along way - pick it up!

It doesn't take much time and you're caring for a city that cares for you. Especially around bus stops where there are normally waste bins anyway. Even if you noticed an item or two at the curb, pick it up and toss it into a bin. Even though the city of Barrie is already a beautiful place to live - we should certainly keep it that way.
