Typically I try to reserve blogs for things not so serious. But, this entry is dedicated to something that has been subject to much debate over the past decade.
Columbine, 1999, do you remember? In the after math of such a horrific event there was only one question; why? "Critics" were quick to blame the video games that kids play, citing their influence spread far beyond the realm of just a fictitious world kids immersed themselves in.
This blog, ladies in gentlemen, is for the critics.
Recently, a Canadian boy logged onto his online gaming account and began a conversation with a fellow competitor. It was the words of this competitor that concerned this Canadian boy, and prompted him to contact authorities.

In this instance video games SAVED lives. Perhaps one or two, maybe dozens, maybe hundreds - we'll never know; luckily.
A sobering subject, I know. My point is that the issue extends beyond the fictitious world we tend to blame.
Perhaps these kids just need someone to talk to - ever think of that?
