I have to be honest, I just do not understand why people buy ice. As we wrap up the civic long weekend for 2009 I cannot help but wonder how much money the Ice Man made. Think about it.

People across Canada were heading to the cottage. To keep their food, and booze chilled they probably stopped to grab a bag or two of ice. For what? $2 maybe $3? Heck, maybe even $5 - maybe even more. An old friend of mine worked for a company that produced, sold, and distributed ice by the pound. The man was rich. Filthy, stinking, rich.

The point I am making is that you simply cannot put a price on one immutable human trait; patience.

Patience is priceless. Make the ice yourself.
